The Marketease ("we", "us", "our") is a digital marketing and outbound sales agency based in Europe. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679) and applicable national laws.

2. What data we collect and why
We collect and process personal data only when necessary for our legitimate business activities:

- **Website visitors**: IP address, browser data, cookies (for analytics and site functionality only – see Cookie Policy).
- **Business contacts & prospects**: Publicly available professional data (name, job title, company, LinkedIn URL, business email/phone if public) collected for outbound prospecting (cold outreach via email/LinkedIn/call). This is based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for B2B marketing.
- **Clients & partners**: Contact details, contract data, invoices (contractual necessity – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We do **not** collect sensitive data, sell data, or use it for automated profiling beyond basic lead scoring for outreach prioritization.

3. How we obtain data
- Public sources: LinkedIn (public profiles), company websites, business directories (SIRENE, etc.)
- Direct interactions: Forms, emails, meetings
- Third-party tools: Microsoft Dynamics 365, Hubspot (CRM), internal prospecting platform (DC-prospect – private, not public SaaS)

All outbound data collection follows GDPR legitimate interest assessments and respects platform ToS (LinkedIn, email providers).

4. Data sharing & transfers
Data is shared only with:
- Internal team (EU-based)
- Service providers under strict DPA (e.g. hosting, CRM, email tools – all EU or GDPR-compliant)
- No third-party marketing or resale

No transfers outside EEA without adequate safeguards.

5. Retention
- Prospect data: deleted after 12 months of inactivity or upon objection
- Client data: kept for duration of contract + 5 years (legal obligation)
- Website analytics: 14–26 months

6. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent (where applicable)
- Lodge a complaint with CNIL (France) or local DPA

7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures (encryption, access controls, regular audits) to protect data.
